"Spending an Erasmus semester in Galway was one of the best experiences in my life.  What I enjoyed most about Galway is its rich cultural repertoire, its friendly inhabitants and the brilliant location directly at the sea. Moreover, I joined several clubs and societies, of which NUIG’s campus has a lot to offer, and I have become friends with the loveliest people from all over the world. Together we did many trips around Ireland’s stunning landscape and shared fantastic memories."

"In September 2015 I went for my Erasmus studies to the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI Galway). My aim was to improve my English skills, to explore beautiful Ireland and to get to know different ways of doing research in political science. The latter was unlike the studies at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg and I learned a lot about politics as well as policies in Ireland. Besides my studies I chose some of the numerous offers of NUI Galway. Thus I joined the amazing Ultimate Frisbee Club and the wonderful Mountaineering Club. In Galway itself I spent many hours in the lovely cafés and great pubs. All in all everything was lovely and great during my Erasmus studies at NUI Galway!"

"I’m Morgane, I'm French and I was an Erasmus student in NUI Galway last year. I stayed the entire academic year, from September to May, and it was an absolutely positive and incredible experience! The university is great, there are lots of different activities and societies to do what you like and meet people. The town itself is lovely and I got attached to it very quickly. I loved travelling all around the country, meeting amazing people from different cultures and growing up thanks to this experience. It was an amazing adventure and I’m happy that it was in Galway."
