Undergraduate Students

Academic orientation for full degree international students will take place from Tuesday 29th August to Friday 1st September 2017. Full details of this programme will be available at a later date as each College will operate their own individual schedule. Please see here

Postgraduate Students

There will be a session specifically aimed at  international Postgraduate Taught Masters students on Thursday 31 st August 2017 in the Bailey Allen from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.  Topics include Research Opportunities and Career Development Centre Introduction.

Visiting Students

Academic orientation for visiting students  will take place on Friday  1 September 2017 in the Bailey Allen hall starting at 8:30 am. ‌ Students receive information on exams, timetables and other important academic information at this session so attendance is mandatory.

Fáilte (Welcome!) Mornings

Each day for the first week of term all newly arrived international students are invited to attend an informal gathering where they can meet with staff of the International Affairs Office, ask questions and get to know each other. Free tea/coffee and biscuits also! Meetings take place from 12 to 1 pm in the every day for the first week of term.

Library training and tour

 The Library will provide Library Orientation for the students for the first weeks of term. Students can book a session that suits them at this link.
