Biography

Aileen has extensive experience in research management, fundraising and nonprofit practice.  Prior to joining the CFRC in 2007, she spent six years as Director of Operations at Galway University Foundation.  Within the philanthropic field, Aileen worked as Research and Development Director at the National Network of Grantmakers in San Diego, California.   Aileen has acted as a fundraising and communications consultant for several community-based, advocacy organisations in the US and Ireland.  In 2015 she completed a PhD study on philanthropic investment in children and youth in Ireland.
