Thesis Submissions
Type of Submission
PhD
Deadlines:
PhDs can be submitted at any time of the year. Conferrings take place at set times and the following (softcopy) submission dates apply:
- Submit by 1 February for Summer Conferrings in June
- Submit by 7 June for Autumn Conferrings in October
- Submit by 4 July for Winter Conferrings in November
- End of year 31 August

Procedures/ Forms:
1. Familiarise yourself with the submission guidelines:
2. Visit the Fees Office to clear any fees issues
3. Submit the following to the Student Information Desk:
- 2 softbound copies of the thesis (Staff members submit 3 copies)
- Abstract (separate or included in thesis)
- 2 original copies of completed Library Form EOG051
- Completed Approlval Form EOG020
4. After Viva
- Submit 1 x hardbound thesis (with corrections letter if relevant) to the Student Information Desk
- Upload electronic copy of thesis to library (applies to all thesis where external examiner approved after April 1 2011)
